Warner McKinnon holds a BBA from Texas Christian University and an MBA from Oklahoma State University (1979). He has over 30 years experience and has taught a course on the Principles of Insurance at Oklahoma Panhandle State University.

Roger McKinnon is a graduate of Oklahoma Panhandle State University with a degree in business. He has 35+ years of experience in the insurance business.

Rita Roberts has over 38 years experience in the insurance business.

Company history

Homer W. Long started the first edition of Long's Agency around 1915. It grew into Long's Agency, Inc. after David Long and Carl McKinnon joined the firm after WWII. Roger and Warner McKinnon joined in the 1970's. In 1982, the McKinnon name was added to reflect the three McKinnons in the firm. Carl died in 2003. David Long sold his interest in 2005.

What is "best neighbor" service?

Many insurance companies use the word "good" in their marketing. We think "good" is the minimum level of service you should expect. You might ask an average neighbor to water your lawn. A "better neighbor" is one you would ask to feed your dog while you are out of town. The "best neighbor" is the one you would leave your child with in an emergency--the one you trust most to help take care of your family.
